About Me

I love family history, and you probably do as well, or you wouldn’t be reading this about me. My son helped me create this website in 2013 because my very favorite thing to do is to help others find their ancestors. So here is a little about me.

I received my Family History Degree from Brigham Young University in 2003 with an emphasis on US Southern States. With this background, I can research in most of the US with confidence. However, I took British research classes as well and enjoyed those immensely. I was grateful that I started my quest when I did, because it is ever changing with the internet, indexing, and records being digitized faster and faster each year.

Currently (2018) I am serving a service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. FamilySearch has genealogy Facebook Groups for everywhere in the world. We get to help members of the groups find their families. It is amazing that people from all over the world can give suggestions, help with records, and just learn if they wish.

I hope you will have success in your family history endeavors. I am here to help.
